My daughter was so shy she would hide behind my leg. One term of ballet at Pirouette and she walks into class on her own, chin up, and practises pliés in the kitchen. The teachers are firm but so kind. We have already signed up for a second class.
My son was never going to do ballet, but hip-hop hooked him instantly. He counts down to class every week and performed at the year-end showcase with so much confidence. The studio feels like a proper community, not a factory churning kids through.
The Parent & Child class is the highlight of our week. Forty minutes of songs, ribbons and giggles with my toddler, run by a teacher who clearly adores them. It has done wonders for his listening and balance, and the transition to a tots class was seamless.
