As young as 18 months in our Parent & Child class, where a grown-up dances alongside their toddler. From around three, little ones are usually ready for drop-off Pre-Ballet and tots classes. From five upward they can join jazz, hip-hop and our other styles, and there is no upper limit — we run dedicated teens and adults classes too. If you are unsure which class suits your child’s age and temperament, just tell us and we will point you to the right one.

Absolutely, that is exactly what trials are for. A $25 trial lets your dancer try a real class with no commitment, meet the teacher and see the studio, while you get a feel for whether Pirouette is the right fit. No experience is needed for any beginner class — every term starts with foundations, and our teachers are used to welcoming first-timers warmly. If they love it, the trial rolls neatly into the term.

Classes run in 10-week terms, billed per term rather than as a monthly subscription, so you always know the cost up front. A single weekly class typically runs from S$280 to S$380 per term depending on the style and level, with multi-class and sibling savings available. We offer Parent & Child and Pre-Ballet for little ones; graded ballet and contemporary as classical foundations; jazz, hip-hop, K-Pop and acro as performance styles; and a Performance Squad pathway for committed dancers. Most dancers start with one style and add a second as they grow — ballet paired with jazz or hip-hop is a particularly popular and well-rounded combination.

Yes, for dancers who want them — but they are never compulsory. Our ballet and contemporary classes follow Royal Academy of Dance foundations, and dancers who wish to can work towards graded RAD examinations. Our Performance Squad, entered by gentle audition, takes part in competitions and external performances. Plenty of dancers simply come for the joy of it with no exams at all, and that is wholly encouraged.

We have two bright, mirrored studios with sprung floors and barres: one in Marine Parade at Parkway Centre, serving the East and a short walk from Marine Parade MRT, and one in Bukit Timah at Bukit Timah Plaza, serving the West and close to Beauty World MRT. Both have easy parking and family-friendly waiting areas. You are welcome to come and see the studio before enrolling.

Yes, and we think it matters enormously for confidence. Across the year we hold studio showcases and community performances, culminating in our flagship year-end concert where dancers perform for family and friends. Participation is encouraged but never forced — some dancers love the spotlight, others prefer to build up to it, and both are completely fine here. The Performance Squad takes on additional, more demanding stages.

For ballet we suggest a simple leotard, tights and ballet shoes; for jazz, hip-hop, K-Pop and contemporary, comfortable, movement-friendly clothes and the appropriate shoes (or bare feet for contemporary). For a first trial, comfortable clothes and a water bottle are perfectly fine — there is no need to buy anything upfront. We will share a simple dress guide for your chosen class once your dancer is enrolled.

We look after your family’s contact details and your dancer’s information under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). They’re used purely to manage enrolment, run classes and send the occasional term update — we don’t sell them, and we don’t pass them to outside parties. Showcase photos of your child are taken and used only where you’ve given consent, which you’re free to give or withdraw whenever you like.
