Parent & Child is where a little dancer’s story usually begins. For 40 happy minutes a grown-up dances right alongside their toddler — bouncing to nursery rhymes, shaking scarves and ribbons, marching, spinning and giggling — while a teacher gently guides the room. There is no pressure to perform and no separation anxiety, because you are right there the whole time.
Behind the fun, every song is chosen to grow something: balance, rhythm, listening, taking turns and following simple directions. Toddlers soak up movement and music at this age, and a weekly class gives them a warm, predictable routine that builds confidence long before they ever step into a class on their own.
When your little one is ready — usually around three — we make the move to a drop-off Pre-Ballet or tots class feel natural, because the room, the teachers and the music are already familiar. It is the gentlest possible on-ramp into a lifetime of moving with joy.
