Dr Adrian Soh founded Clearbrook after years in hospital dermatology, frustrated that so many patients arrived having spent months and money on the wrong treatments for a condition no one had properly diagnosed. He wanted a practice where every patient was seen by a specialist, where the diagnosis came before any treatment, and where the advice was honest even when the honest answer was “you don’t need anything done.”
That principle runs through everything. We are a genuine medical dermatology practice that also performs doctor-led cosmetic work — but the medical condition is always assessed and settled first. Acne is treated before its scars; eczema is calmed before anyone reaches for a laser; pigmentation is examined for an underlying cause before it is lightened.
Today our specialists see patients of every age across two central clinics, from a child’s first eczema flare to an adult’s skin-cancer screening. The work is unglamorous at its core — careful diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and the patience to explain it all — and that is exactly the point.
