What it involves
Not every dog needs a full day, and not every owner is out for one. A half-day gives your dog a real dose of play, a walk and some company for about four hours — a morning session that ends around lunch, or an afternoon one that runs to dinner. It is the same supervised playgroups and the same care, just in a shorter window.
It is our go-to for puppies who are still learning to settle and tire out fast, and for older dogs who love the social side but do better with an afternoon at home. It is also handy when you only need a few hours of cover — a meeting across town, a viewing, a long lunch — without committing to a whole day.
You still get the report card and a couple of photos, and you can always upgrade a half-day to a full day on the spot if your plans change. Many owners use half-days to ease a nervous dog into daycare before stepping up to full days.
Good for
Puppies still building stamina, senior dogs, or owners who only need a few hours of cover.
A typical daycare day
Every dog’s day follows the same gentle rhythm — active, rested and supervised throughout.
