SeaTech Asia modular pavilion
A reusable modular pavilion designed once and reconfigured across three regional shows in a year on one fabrication budget.
SeaTech Asia exhibits several times a year, which made the usual model — design and build a fresh stand each time, then send most of it to the skip — both wasteful and expensive. They wanted a smarter approach, so we designed a modular pavilion system rather than a single stand: one kit of parts engineered to reconfigure between footprints across the calendar.
The system flexes from a 18 m² in-line to a 48 m² corner without looking like the same stand wearing a different graphic each time. We store, maintain and re-dress it between shows, so each outing gets a fresh, considered face while the structural spend stays put. The economics only work if the build quality holds up to repeated assembly and teardown, which is exactly where in-house fabrication earns its keep.
Across one year the pavilion appeared at three regional shows on a single fabrication budget, with the per-show cost compounding instead of repeating. For an exhibitor with a busy calendar, that is usually the smartest spatial decision they can make.
