For story-led spaces — Setpiece from $18,000 from an indicative build.
A museum or exhibition set is storytelling rendered in three dimensions. The visitor never reads your brief — they walk a route, and that route has to do the work: where the eye lands first, how the light draws them deeper, where a beat of pause sits before the reveal. We plan the journey as a sequence of scenes, then build the casework, plinths, scenic walls and media surfaces that hold it together, so the content and the space read as one piece rather than artefacts dropped into a room.
These projects stand or fall on craft and on conservation-grade care. Cases need to be sealed and lit without cooking the object inside; finishes need to read beautifully at arm’s length under gallery light; graphics need to be legible to a curious child and a careful archivist at the same time. Our workshop is set up for exactly this fine-tolerance work — the difference between a plinth that looks like furniture and one that quietly disappears so the object can speak. We work shoulder to shoulder with curators and conservators so the design serves the collection rather than upstaging it.
We are just as comfortable with corporate experience centres and brand galleries, where the "collection" is a company’s story, products or breakthroughs. The same discipline applies — a clear narrative spine, considered light, and integrated media that earns its place instead of shouting for attention. The outcome is a space staff are glad to bring clients into, one that holds up through years of daily footfall and can be refreshed zone by zone as the story keeps moving.
