A vibrant Malay wedding with a pelamin stage, bersanding and 400 guests across the day.
Farah and Iskandar’s wedding was a true kenduri — four-hundred guests, a full pelamin stage, the bersanding, and the warm, open-house energy that defines a Malay celebration. The brief was to keep that generosity intact while taking the weight of running it off both families’ shoulders.
We designed and commissioned the pelamin and dais florals in soft dusty rose and sage, coordinated the kompang procession and the bunga manggar, and built a service plan with the hotel that kept a continuous flow of guests moving through across the afternoon and evening without ever feeling like a queue.
Behind the scenes, full planning meant we held the budget, the vendor roster, the family liaison and the master timeline for the whole journey. The couple’s parents got to be hosts, not stage managers — and Farah and Iskandar got to sit on their pelamin and simply receive everyone’s blessings.
“Four hundred guests and our parents got to relax for once. Evermore understood our traditions completely.”
