What this class is like
Aqua Fiesta takes the Zumba party into the water. Held in a partner condo pool in the East, the class uses the water’s resistance to make every move work harder while its buoyancy protects your joints — so you sweat without the pounding.
It is brilliant for anyone managing knee, hip or back niggles, for pregnancy fitness with clearance, and frankly for anyone who fancies a cooler, refreshing way to dance in Singapore’s heat. The choreography is simple and the laughs are plentiful.
Strong swimming is not required at all — we stay in chest-deep water the whole time and the instructor leads every move from the poolside. Pack your swimmers and a towel, and get ready to be amazed at how much water can make you work.
