Juice in a glass. A soft, pillowy hazy IPA bursting with mango, passionfruit and pineapple, with barely any bitterness. The crowd-pleaser of the hop family.
Monsoon Hazy is the other side of the IPA coin from Kiln King. Where that beer is clear and bitter, this one is soft, hazy and almost juicy. We load it with late and dry-hop additions chosen entirely for tropical aroma — mango, passionfruit, pineapple — and keep the bitterness low so the fruit takes centre stage. A big slug of oats and wheat gives it that signature pillowy, opaque body.
It is the beer that wins over drinkers who are sure they hate IPAs. We hear "this doesn't taste like beer, it tastes like juice" almost every shift, and we take it as a win. At 6% it drinks dangerously easily for its strength, so we always remind people to pace themselves.
Hazy beer is also the most perishable thing we make — the aromatics fade within weeks — so we brew it in smaller, more frequent batches and never let it sit. The cans are dated, and we encourage you to drink them fresh rather than cellar them.
