Furtail began with a simple frustration. After years in busy commercial salons, our founder Germaine kept seeing the same things: pets stacked in cages, left under hot dryers, rushed through a quota of cuts, and handed back frazzled. She knew grooming could feel completely different — calmer for the pet, and more honest for the owner.
So in 2019 she opened a small shophouse salon in Tiong Bahru with one rule above all the others: comfort comes before a perfect finish. Open pens instead of stacked cages. Breaks whenever a pet needs one. A separate quiet room for cats. And a real conversation with every owner before a single clipper switches on.
Thousands of grooms later, that's still how we run. We'd rather send your dog home a little scruffy and happy than perfectly clipped and stressed — and we'll always tell you honestly what your pet actually needs, and what it'll cost, before we start.

Breed standards, signature teddy faces or a simple fuss-free length — bring a photo, and a trained stylist scissors it properly.

We won’t shave a double coat or push spa you don’t need. We tell you what your pet actually needs and what it’ll cost, plainly.
Your slot, held for you
Club members keep a regular groomer and a standing slot, so booking is effortless and your pet sees a familiar face each time.
