What's involved
A breed-style clip is for owners who know the look they want and want it done right. Whether it’s a textbook Miniature Schnauzer with proper furnishings, a Poodle in a clean lamb or continental, a teddy-bear doodle face, or a Bichon round head, our trained stylists scissor and clip to the standard rather than a rough all-over shave.
It takes time and a steady hand, and it relies on the coat being in good condition — a matted coat can’t hold a sharp style, so we’ll be honest if your dog needs a reset groom or a few weeks of home brushing before the look you’re after is achievable. Bring reference photos; we love them.
Holding a style between visits is mostly about routine — a regular brush at home and a four-to-six-week clip cycle keeps the shape crisp. We’ll talk you through the brushing and the rhythm, and your stylist will get to know your dog’s coat so each visit builds on the last rather than starting from scratch.
