Infant Care at Little Banyan

Infant care at Little Banyan is deliberately small and slow. With one educator to every five infants, the grown-ups looking after your baby get to learn their cues — the particular cry that means hungry, the way they like to be held to sleep — rather than moving them through a timetable. Feeds, naps and nappy changes follow your baby’s rhythm, not the clock, and we keep a shared daily log so you always know how the day went.

The room itself is built for the under-twos: low light over the sleep area, soft flooring for early crawlers and pullers-up, and baskets of safe, real-object treasures to mouth and explore. Tummy time, mirror play, songs and gentle outdoor pram strolls fill the waking hours, all of it the unglamorous, important work of building secure attachment and early language.

We know handing over a baby is the hardest drop-off of all, so settling-in is paced by you over a first week, you are welcome to call or message any time, and you will get photos and a written note each day. Infant places are limited and tend to fill early, so we encourage a tour and a waitlist chat well before your leave ends.
