Playgroup at Little Banyan
Playgroup is most children’s very first step into a world beyond home, and we treat it with the care that deserves. Days are unhurried and predictable — a morning welcome and circle, long stretches of open play, snack together, outdoor time and a calm story-and-songs wind-down — because for a toddler, a dependable rhythm is what makes a new place feel safe enough to explore.
The learning here is hidden inside the play. Stacking, pouring, dressing up and singing are how toddlers build language, balance, fine-motor control and the very first ideas about sharing and waiting. Our educators narrate, model and gently extend that play in both English and Mandarin, so vocabulary grows naturally in two languages at the age it comes most easily.
Settling-in is paced child by child, with a familiar buddy educator and a goodbye routine we keep the same every morning. We share photos and short notes through the day, and we give you a straight account of how the settling is genuinely going — the tears at the door that stop two minutes later, or the day they finally walk in without looking back.
