Inside the DSA & Portfolio Programme course

Teens applying through DSA-Art, SOTA, NAFA, LASALLE or for an art-school place abroad.
What you will get out of it:
- Weekly 2.5-hour intensive sessions
- An individual portfolio plan per student
- Folio review & interview preparation
- Candid, art-school-style critique
- A coherent, submission-ready portfolio
A strong portfolio is rarely an accident — it is planned, drafted and refined under guidance, and that is exactly what this programme provides. We coach teens applying through DSA-Art, SOTA, NAFA, LASALLE and overseas art schools to build a coherent, confident body of work that shows real thinking, not just neat technique.
Each student gets an individual plan: we audit where they are, choose a direction, and work term by term through observational studies, a developed theme, experimentation and a polished final selection. Sessions are small and intensive, with the candid, specific critique that genuinely moves a folio forward.
We also prepare students for the bits beyond the artwork — the artist statement, the folio presentation, and talking about their work in an interview without freezing. Places on this programme are limited so each candidate gets real attention. It is our most rigorous track, and it shows in where our students end up.
Nice things to pair with it
- Add mock-interview & folio review sessions
- Schedule extra one-to-one tutorials
