Inside the Watercolour Classes course

People who love the look of watercolour and want to stop fighting it.
What you will get out of it:
- 8 guided sessions, 2 hours each
- Artist-grade paper, brushes & paints provided
- A take-home palette of mixing notes
- Small group, individual easel space
- A bound set of term studies
Watercolour rewards patience and punishes panic, which is exactly why it is so satisfying once it clicks. This shorter eight-week term teaches the real fundamentals: how much water, when to let a wash dry, how to layer light to dark, and how to leave the white of the paper doing the work.
We paint florals, fruit, a little Singapore streetscape and skies, learning wet-on-wet, glazing, lifting and the controlled accidents that make watercolour sing. Good paper, sable-blend brushes and a tin of artist paints are provided so you are not fighting cheap materials while you learn.
It is a quiet, absorbing class — many students say it is the calmest two hours of their week. Light to carry and lovely to keep up at home, watercolour is the medium people stick with for life. Come as a complete beginner; we start from the very first wash.
Nice things to pair with it
