What you’ll train

Mobility is the work nobody posts about and everybody needs. Calisthenics asks a lot of your wrists, shoulders and hips, and the members who train for years rather than months are almost always the ones who put in the quiet maintenance work. This class is built specifically for bar athletes: the wrist conditioning a handstand demands, the shoulder range a clean overhead position needs, the hip and hamstring work that lets a front lever and an L-sit feel easy.

It is active, not just stretching on a mat. We coach end-range strength — the ability to be strong in the positions your skills put you in — so the range you build actually transfers to the bar and the floor. Sessions are gentle on the joints and a genuine recovery day between hard strength work.

Most members run Mobility as a complement to a strength or skills membership rather than on its own, and it is the cheapest, smartest insurance you can buy against the niggles that quietly stall everyone else’s progress.
