Not everyone wants to wait four minutes for a pour-over, and that’s fair. The house batch brew is a medium-roast filter coffee made in volume and kept fresh, so it’s ready the moment you reach the counter — the everyday black coffee, done properly.
We brew it on a recipe rather than by eye, and tip the batch if it’s sat too long, so a quick cup is still a good cup. Expect a rounded, nutty, brown-sugar profile that takes milk well if you change your mind.
It’s the most affordable coffee on the menu and the one we’re happiest to refill cheaply for anyone working a long shift nearby.
