What’s involved
The chemical overhaul is the most thorough service we offer. We dismantle the unit — cover, blower wheel, cooling coil and drainage tray all come out — and each part is individually chemical-washed, scrubbed and rinsed, rather than cleaned in place.
It is the rescue job for aircon that has been ignored for years: heavy mould, black gunk in the tray, a blower so clogged the unit barely blows. Stripping it right down is the only way to get that out, and to bring a tired unit genuinely back to life.
Once every part is spotless we reassemble, re-gas if needed, and run the unit to make sure it is cooling hard and draining cleanly. An overhaul costs more than a wash, but on a badly neglected unit it is far cheaper than a new aircon.
