What’s involved
When an aircon runs but no longer blows cold, low refrigerant is one of the usual suspects. We measure the gas pressure properly with a manifold gauge first, confirm it is actually low, then top it up with the correct refrigerant for your system — R32 or R410a.
We will not just blindly pump in gas. If pressure is dropping fast, there is a leak somewhere, and topping up without finding it just wastes your money. So we check for leaks first and tell you honestly whether a top-up will hold or whether the leak needs fixing.
Once recharged to the right level, we run the unit and check the temperature at the vent so you can feel it is genuinely cold again before we pack up.
Good for
Aircon that runs but blows warm or only-slightly-cool air.
