Ballet for Children
Ages 5–9 · 60 min
Proper classical ballet for the joy of it — strong technique and good habits, without the commitment of the exam calendar.
Ballet for Teens meets teenagers exactly where they are. Some join us having never danced, drawn by the discipline and the line of classical ballet; others continue their graded work; a good number return after exams or co-curriculars pulled them away for a while. The class is taught so all three feel they belong.
We teach with respect for older beginners — clear, unhurried, and never patronising. Technique is built honestly from the barre up, with attention to the strength and alignment a teenage body needs. Those on the graded track keep progressing; those dancing for love keep growing without pressure.
It is the right class for a teen who wants a serious, supportive studio rather than a casual drop-in. For dancers aiming higher, it is also the natural feeder into pointe and our pre-professional pathway when the time is right.
