Pointe work and the RAD vocational grades — for committed dancers building towards serious, possibly professional, training.
Private and coaching sessions give a dancer the undivided attention that a group class cannot. They are most often used to polish a grade before an exam, to refine pointe technique, to prepare a variation for an audition or competition, or to help a dancer catch up after illness or a move between studios.
Each session is shaped entirely around the dancer in front of us. We begin by watching, identify the two or three things that will make the biggest difference, and then work them patiently — corrections explained, not just called. Sessions can be booked singly or, more usefully, as a short block leading up to a specific goal.
It is the right choice when a dancer needs targeted progress rather than more class time. We are honest about whether private coaching is the answer — sometimes the better advice is simply another term in the right class, and we will say so.
