What the class is like

Vinyasa Flow links movement to breath so the class becomes one continuous, flowing sequence rather than a set of separate poses. It builds heat, strength and stamina, and there is a real meditative quality to it — when you are following the breath from one shape to the next, the noise in your head tends to quieten on its own.

Classes are sequenced thoughtfully, with a clear warm-up, a building middle and a proper wind-down, so you are never thrown into the hardest shapes cold. Teachers offer a gentler and a stronger option throughout, so you can find your own intensity on the day rather than forcing a pace that does not suit you.

It is our most energising class and a favourite for after work, when you want to move the day out of your body. A little prior practice helps, but a few Foundations or Hatha classes first is all you really need before stepping in.
