Home / FAQ
Absolutely — in fact most of our members began exactly there. Our Foundations class is a beginner-only room where the basic shapes and the breath are taught slowly from scratch, with nothing assumed and props offered freely. You do not need to be flexible or fit — you just need to turn up. The easiest way in is an unlimited intro week, so you can try Foundations and a few gentle classes before deciding anything.
It comes down to what you want today. Hatha and Foundations are steady, grounding classes at room temperature — best for building strength and calm without a sweat. Vinyasa Flow and Warm Flow are more energising and link movement to breath, with the warm room adding mobility and a deeper sweat. Yin & Restore is the opposite — long, supported holds to release tension and settle the mind. Our Practice Finder asks a few quick questions and recommends a style and a weekly rhythm for you.
Both, with no lock-in either way. New members usually begin with a 7-day unlimited Intro Week from $39. After that you can pay per class as a drop-in from $32, buy a 10-Class Pass to use over three months, or go Unlimited Monthly from $188 for as many classes as you like across all three studios. Memberships pause anytime, and payment is via PayNow, card or Atome — whichever suits you.
No — clean mats, blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets are provided at every studio, so you can simply arrive and practise. Plenty of members bring their own mat once they are practising regularly, which is welcome, but it is never required. We just suggest arriving a few minutes early for your first class so reception can show you around.
Yes. An Unlimited Monthly membership and the 10-Class Pass both work across all three Sukha studios — Millenia Walk, Tanjong Pagar and Holland Village — so you can practise near the office during the week and near home on weekends. You just book whichever class and location suits you through the app or at reception.
Our Prenatal Yoga is designed specifically for pregnancy and taught by specially trained teachers, with every shape modified and adjusted to your trimester and how you feel on the day. Most mothers join from the second trimester and continue to their due date, though earlier is fine with your doctor's clearance. We always recommend a quick word with your doctor before starting, and our teachers are happy to talk through anything beforehand.
For most people, two to three classes a week is the sweet spot where the benefits really start to show — looser joints, more strength, better sleep and a noticeably calmer head. Even once a week builds a steady habit, and our Yin & Restore class counts: it is recovery, not effort. The Practice Finder suggests a realistic weekly rhythm based on your experience and what you are after, so you are not aiming for more than life allows.
Let the teacher know before class and they will offer modifications and gentler options throughout — yoga can be adapted for most bodies, and our smaller class sizes mean the teacher can keep an eye on you. For anything significant, we recommend checking with your doctor or physiotherapist first, and our Foundations, Hatha and Yin classes are usually the kindest places to begin. We would rather you practise safely and slowly than push through anything.
Your contact and booking details are kept confidential here and handled exactly as Singapore's PDPA requires. We use them only to manage your classes, membership and the occasional studio update — never to bombard you, and they stay inside Sukha, never sold or shared elsewhere.
