The number simply counts how many indoor units run off a single outdoor condenser. A System 1 is one indoor unit on its own condenser — ideal for a studio or a single bedroom. A System 2 cools two rooms from one condenser and is the most-fitted package in HDB flats. A System 3 and System 4 add a third and fourth indoor unit, suiting larger flats and condos. At the survey we recommend the right configuration and the BTU sizing for each room.

Yes, and BTO flats are the easiest to get right because the walls are still bare. The best time is before your renovation starts, so the copper piping and trunking can be planned to hide behind your eventual carpentry rather than run exposed. We co-ordinate the install around your key collection and your renovation schedule, survey the empty flat first, and agree a fixed package price up front.
We do. Condo installs come with managed-estate rules about which ledges are approved for condensers and what hours work is allowed, and we handle that side for you — mounting condensers to the approved positions with proper brackets and scheduling the install within the building’s permitted windows. Where you are replacing builder-fitted units, we can often reuse the existing pipe chases so the walls stay untouched.
Every Coolworks installation carries a one-year workmanship warranty in writing, which sits on top of the manufacturer’s warranty on the unit itself. If anything traced to our install — a drainage issue, a charge problem, a bracket — goes wrong within that year, we come back and put it right at no cost to you. The maker’s warranty covers the hardware; ours covers how it was fitted.
Often, yes. At the survey we check whether your existing copper runs and drainage are sound and correctly sized for a modern inverter. If they are, we reuse them and simply swap the units, which keeps the cost down and your walls untouched. If the old piping is too short, corroded or wrongly sized, we say so plainly and re-pipe only the stretch that genuinely needs it. The old units are removed and disposed of responsibly either way.
