Grief & Loss Counselling in Singapore

Anyone grieving a death, separation, or another life-changing loss.

Grief does not follow a tidy timeline, and it is not only about death. The loss of a marriage, a job, a pregnancy, your health, or the future you had imagined can all bring a grief that is real and deserving of care. Grief counselling gives you somewhere to bring it — without being told to "move on" or "stay strong" before you are ready.

There is no right way to grieve, and we will never impose a set of stages on you. Instead we walk alongside you as you make sense of the loss in your own way, hold the waves of feeling when they come, and slowly find a way to carry what has happened while still living a full life. For some that is a few sessions; for others it is a longer, gentler companionship.

If your grief has become tangled with guilt, anger, trauma or a low mood that will not lift, we can help with that too. You do not have to carry it alone, and reaching for support is not a failure to cope — it is one of the kindest things you can do for yourself.

How sessions usually run

Paced entirely by you — gentle, unhurried and without a fixed end. There’s no fixed package and no lock-in — we review together how things are going so the work always stays useful to you, and you’re free to pause or stop whenever you choose.

Stillpoint is a counselling and psychotherapy practice, not a medical or psychiatric clinic — our counsellors don’t diagnose conditions or prescribe medication. We work alongside GPs and psychiatrists, and will talk with you about a referral if we feel medical input would help. If you’re in crisis or at risk of harm, please contact emergency services or a Singapore helpline straight away.
