For relationships Couples Counselling
A calm, even-handed space for two partners to be heard, repair trust, and learn to talk about the hard things without it ending in a fight.
Individual counselling is the work that sits at the centre of Stillpoint. It is a regular, unhurried hour that belongs entirely to you — a private space to say the things that are hard to say elsewhere, and to be heard without judgement or advice you did not ask for. Many people arrive feeling that they "should be able to cope", only to find that talking it through with someone trained makes a real difference.
Your counsellor works with you, not on you. In the first session we get a sense of what has brought you in and what you would like to feel different, then we shape the work around that — whether the goal is to quiet a racing mind, lift a heavy mood, untangle a decision, or simply understand yourself a little more kindly. We draw on evidence-based approaches such as CBT and person-centred work, but the pace is always yours.
There is no fixed number of sessions you are signed up for. Some people come for a handful of weeks around a specific worry; others value an ongoing space over months. We will talk openly about what is helping and review it together, so the work stays useful to you and never becomes something you feel stuck in.

This list isn’t exhaustive — if what you’re facing isn’t here, please reach out anyway and we’ll point you to the right support.
Usually weekly or fortnightly to begin with, reviewed together as you go. There’s no fixed package and no lock-in — we review together how things are going so the work always stays useful to you, and you’re free to pause or stop whenever you choose.
Stillpoint is a counselling and psychotherapy practice, not a medical or psychiatric clinic — our counsellors don’t diagnose conditions or prescribe medication. We work alongside GPs and psychiatrists, and will talk with you about a referral if we feel medical input would help. If you’re in crisis or at risk of harm, please contact emergency services or a Singapore helpline straight away.
If any of this feels like you or someone you love, you don’t have to carry it alone. Reach out today, and we’ll take it gently from there.
