Mostly at a partner studio just off Tras Street, two minutes from Tanjong Pagar MRT, where my weekday 1-on-1 sessions run. I also coach at clients’ own condo gyms across the island, and run outdoor and small-group sessions at East Coast Park, usually on weekend mornings. Tell me where you are and what suits you, and we will find a spot that works — that flexibility is part of why people train with a freelance coach rather than a chain.
Not at all, and honestly beginners are some of my favourite clients to coach. We start with a movement screen, teach the lifts from scratch, and build up slowly on a body that can handle it — often through my eight-week Strength & Mobility Block. You will never be thrown into something you are not ready for, and the whole point of 1-on-1 is that there is no crowd to feel self-conscious in front of. Most people feel at home within two or three sessions.
1-on-1 sessions start at $85, and the per-session price drops when you take a package — Foundation (12 sessions) works out to $80 each, and Transform (24 sessions, with nutrition coaching) to $75. Online coaching is $220 a month, small-group is from $45 a head, and nutrition coaching on its own is $180 a month. Use the Coaching Plan Finder on this site for an indicative figure for your goal and format — but the exact plan and price are always confirmed in our free consult first.
1-on-1 means I coach you in the room, every session — the most hands-on and the best for technique and accountability. Online coaching is a programme on your phone with weekly check-ins and video form reviews; you train on your own time, and it costs far less. Hybrid is the middle ground: a couple of in-person sessions a month to dial in your lifts, plus full online programming for the rest. In our consult I will recommend the one that actually fits your goal, schedule and budget.
Yes — it is one of my specialities. I have coached plenty of NSmen from a borderline fail to a comfortable pass, and several from a pass to the silver or gold incentive. We work backwards from your test date, fix your 2.4km pacing, build the push-up and sit-up volume that carries to the day, and lay the strength base under it all. Blocks usually run six to ten weeks, twice a week, and I will tell you honestly what is realistic by your date.
Both. For a lot of people the training is fine and it is the eating that keeps them stuck, so I coach the nutrition side too — without crash diets or banned-food lists. We set a sensible protein and calorie target, build hawker swaps and default meals that fit real Singapore life, and check in monthly to adjust. It is included in the Transform package, can be added to any plan, or taken on its own as monthly nutrition and habit coaching.
For most people, twice a week is the sweet spot where things genuinely start to change — enough to drive progress, sustainable enough to keep up. Once a week works if you are also active outside our sessions or on an online plan for the rest; three times suits those chasing a specific goal or test. More than the frequency, though, what matters is consistency over months, which is exactly what having a coach in your corner is designed to protect.
It is a relaxed, no-pressure chat — over WhatsApp, a call, or in person if you prefer. We talk through your goal, your training history, any injuries or niggles, and the realities of your schedule and budget. I will tell you honestly whether I am the right coach for you, recommend a format and a starting package, and answer anything you want to ask. There is no obligation to book afterwards, and no hard sell — it is just so we both know it is a good fit.
Everything you give me — contact details, health background, photos or training notes — stays strictly between the two of us, kept in line with what Singapore’s PDPA requires of me. I draw on it only to coach you safely and arrange your sessions; it is never used to market at you, and never shared with anyone else. Want it wiped at any point? Tell me and it is deleted, no fuss.

The fastest answer is a WhatsApp message — I usually reply the same day.
