What this is for
NSmen chasing a pass or an incentive, and anyone who dreads the 2.4km run.
How well it fits each goalWhat’s involved
IPPT prep is its own skill, and I have coached plenty of NSmen from "scraping a fail" to a comfortable pass — and a few from a pass to the money. We work backwards from your test date and build the three stations honestly: push-up and sit-up volume that actually carries to the day, and a 2.4km plan that fixes pacing, not just fitness.
Most people fail the run not because they cannot run, but because they go out too fast, blow up at the second lap, and never train the right pace. We fix that with proper interval and tempo work, plus the strength and core base that makes the static stations easy. If your push-ups are the weak link, we drill the pattern and build the reps; if it is the run, we live on the track.
Blocks usually run six to ten weeks, twice a week, and I will tell you straight where you stand and what is realistic by your date. Whether you want a clean pass or you are chasing the silver or gold incentive, we train for the number you actually need.
