Small-group is one-on-one coaching for two to four people who already know each other. You still get a programme — I just run two or three of you through complementary work in the same hour, scaling the weights and exercises to each person. It is social, it is competitive in the good way, and it lands at a much friendlier price per head than private sessions.
I keep the numbers genuinely small. This is not a bootcamp with twenty strangers and one whistle — it is your group, coached closely, with me actually watching every rep. Couples who want to train together, a few colleagues splitting a slot after work, friends keeping each other accountable: this is the format that keeps them all showing up.
We run small-group at the Tanjong Pagar studio or outdoors at East Coast Park on weekend mornings. Bring the right people and it becomes the session nobody wants to skip — because someone else is counting on you to turn up.
