Our story
Built for the person standing nervously at the door
Suspend opened in 2017 above a quiet stretch of Kallang Avenue, with twelve poles, one aerial rig and a stubborn belief that pole fitness should not feel like a closed club. Mei Anders had trained in studios that were brilliant but intimidating — rooms full of people already flying, with no obvious way in for a beginner.
So she built the door she'd wanted: a women-led studio with a genuine beginner pathway, small classes, certified coaches and a community that celebrates a first climb as loudly as a first stage routine. A few years later we added an aerial annexe in Tai Seng for hoop and silks.
What hasn't changed is the feeling. You can arrive convinced you have no strength and no business being here, and leave already counting down to your next class. That's the whole point of Suspend.
Why train with us
What makes Suspend, Suspend
Coaches who actually teach
Every class is led by a certified coach who breaks moves down and spots you — not a performer winging a class on the side.
Safety, not bravado
Crash mats on every station, honest progressions and inverts only when you are ready. Nobody is rushed into anything dangerous.
Small, women-led groups
Classes are capped small so you get real attention, in a women-led studio where every body and every level is genuinely welcome.
A clear progression path
A proper ladder from Intro to Performance, so your next goal is always obvious and you never plateau by accident.
Private & PDPA-aware
We hold your details, photos and any injury notes carefully and privately, exactly as Singapore’s PDPA requires.
Clear, honest pricing
Transparent pack prices, no joining fee and no lock-in. Pay by PayNow, card or Atome — what you see is what you pay.
Our coaches
The people who'll spot you
Mei Anders
Founder & Head Coach
Opened Suspend in 2017 to build the welcoming, level-by-level studio she wished existed. A decade on the pole, and still teaching beginners every week.
Priya Nair
Senior Pole & Performance Coach
Leads our intermediate and advanced pole. Loved for making inverts feel possible and for choreography that gets shy students onto the stage.
Hana Yusof
Aerial & Flexibility Coach
Heads up hoop, silks and conditioning. A patient, safety-first teacher with a gift for getting tight beginners into their first real split.
