Aerial Hoop (Lyra) Intro
Spin, pose and play on the suspended steel hoop — a beautiful, beginner-friendly entry into aerial.
The Aerial Hoop Intro puts you on the lyra — the suspended steel hoop you have probably seen in performances — in a friendly, ground-up first class. You will learn how to mount safely, your first seated and standing poses, and a simple spin, all with a crash mat and a coach spotting you the whole way.
Hoop is forgiving for beginners because so much of the early work is supported, which makes it a lovely first taste of aerial even if you have never trained before. It builds grip, core and a real sense of body awareness, and it photographs beautifully if that is your thing.
Plenty of our pole students cross-train on hoop for variety, and plenty of people start their aerial journey here and never touch a pole at all. Either way, the Intro is the right first rung — no experience, no nerves required.
